We do not come here often enough.
True Northern Chinese food. There is nothing quite as luxurious as hand pulled noodles! -

This is one of those places where you are looking for some comfort and handmade noodles comes to mind. Tucked in a south block at First Markham Place there is ample seating for dinner on a weeknight.
The menu has a variety of choices - more than a dozen kinds of noodles with soup, more than half a dozen kinds of noodles in sauces, cold noodles, fried noodles, and rice combos.
On this evening the item of choice was braised mutton noodle soup. Noodles can be silk string, classic, mid round, triangle, flat, curtain and shaved noodles. I did not specify noodle style so it came classic. I added chili sauce to the soup and immediately began to perspire on consumption. It was the perfect meal for the time of day and was not disappointed. Not salty and good flavours.
If you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner this is the place to go! -

A small noodle shop in a plaza of many restaurants has some stand out dishes with respectable quality and quantity.
What We Got: 100 house special noodle, 101 authentic beef noodle, flatbread rolled with beef, lamb skewers, braised pork leg
What We Liked: noodles, skewers and flatbread rolls were solid
What We Didn't: braised pork leg is a cold dish... Pass.
What I'll try next: short rib with ribbon noodles!
It was fairly quiet around 6 pm on a Saturday. We saw a clean and orderly space with an open kitchen concept to see the kung fu noodle master do his work.
The menu is straightforward. We ordered a noodle each and split three side dishes.
Braised pork leg came first. It was a cold dish so I probably wouldn't get it again. It tasted alright but wasn't quite worth the $5.99.
Noodles came after that. Broth is flavourful. The authentic beef had several slices of braised beef. The house special noodle came with an egg, two pieces of lamb, chicken steak, and some beef as well. Signature house special definitely has value. Noodles were nice and chewy. They're the round thin noodles which I generally don't enjoy as much, but these were an exception.
The beef flatbread is another form of the beef pancakes at other northern Asian cuisines. This had some sauce mixed in with the meat which have it a savoury touch. It's nice and crunchy, but it is definitely smaller than some competitors.
Lastly, the lamb skewers. It's almost the same as the ones I had the day before at Xian Jiang Restaurant at Metro Square... And I would argue just as good!
Kung Fu Noodle is in a tough spot between some other solid restaurants but it's definitely worth a visit. -

This place is unexpectedly good! Don't get fooled by the look from the outside. It does seems unnoticeable, but trust me, they've got some good noods!
We got House special noodle, Beef noodle and some dumplings.
The noodle is very chewy (the kung fu is no kidding.) and the meat is tender. The portion is huge for one person, unless you are super hungry.
They also offer a variety of other food, and different types and styles of noodles.
Will come back again. Soon. -

I came here because some friends form out of town recommend it. It was there go to place Everytime they were in town. I am not sure I trust recommendations from none yelpers at more. Lol
The staff is quite friendly. The day we went wasn't very busy for a weekend. Luckily for us that meant out food cam out faster.
I wasn't sure what to get so I went with the house special. It had a little bit of everything so it was a great choice. The soup broth was disappointing. It tasted like it was masked with cumin and other spices rather than favoried from meats and vegetables. The noodles were different. Just not what I expected for pulled noodles.
We also got a flat bread wrapped with beef. This was really not good. The wrap was chewy and felt like it was microwaved. The beef was cond inside. I would avoid all flat bread wraps from this place.
I won't come back. There is too much in the area to give it a second chance.
